We spent a few hours in Farmleigh the other day and I had forgotten how much I love it there. There are days (especially during the week) where the park is so quiet and relaxed it’s easy to forget you’re in the middle of a city. I hadn’t intended on taking any pics that day and wasn’t wearing anything special but the weather was so nice and we had our camera so took just a few.
I’m going though an interiors obsession at the moment so clothes and makeup have taken a back seat. It started with doing up the kids rooms and now I’ve progressed to downstairs, painting everything in sight. I don’t know if any of you are the same but I go through stages of spending hours on Houzz and Pinterest looking for decor inspiration, spending weekends in IKEA and homeware shops……then I get over it and neglect the house again for another couple of years :)!
So I haven’t bought much clotheswise lately and I probably wouldn’t have bought this top were it not for the colour. It is the prettiest pale blue that caught my eye in h&m so I grabbed it and marched straight to the till withou checking the price. I was expecting it to be no more than €20 so was a bit surprised when it was €29.99- expensive for what it is in H&M I thought. I do really like though.
Backless loafers are not everyone’s cup of tea but I love them! I got these last year from Forever 21 and they’re still going strong. This year they’re are loads more of them in the shops in lots of different colours and patterns. (Ive linked some of the various options above). They are sooo comfy and easy to slip on and off. Other than that this is just a simple, easy, everyday outfit for me. The jeans are J Brand and I can’t believe I was brave/stupid enough to take a scissors to them, but I cut and frayed the ends myself. They didn’t turn out too ridiculous looking thankfully!
