  • Back to school with M&S

I can’t believe how quickly this summer is going and the girls will be going back to school in just a few weeks! We’ve had the best summer, our first in years without a small baby/ small toddler. Amelie is starting in September and she (and I) are a little apprehensive about it. I know she’ll be absolutely fine after a day or two but I on the other hand am in a perpetual state of bewilderment. Where did the last four years go?

I always buy the uniforms in Marks and Spencers so I was delighted to collaborate with them on their back to school campaign this year. I showed some of the uniforms on stories aswell and as usual I’m really happy with the quality of everything.  Amelie will be getting some of Freyas hand me downs this year because they’re in such good condition! I also storied (is that a word?) the pieces I Chose for myself that will be perfect for the school run come September.

First things first, these taupe loafers! I loved them as soon as I saw them and they were even better in person. They’re a gorgeous go with everything colour, such good quality and most importantly they’re really comfortable. I’ve worn them a few times now and I haven’t had any discomfort or problems at all. I’m so pleased with them.

I’m very into hair scarves and this one has a cool print and very Autumnal colours and I thought I could wear  it around  my neck as a tie or on bags like in the pictures too. Finally I chose this short sleeve ribbed knit!  This may be my favourite thing!  I’m really into this style at the moment and this is the best one I’ve seen. If you like this ribbed style more fitted (like I do) I’d go down one size or even two. It’s a very generous fit.
